Safety is the foundation on which projects are planned, built, and completed at Vap Construction. That commitment was recently recognized at the national level.
Vap Construction has earned Gold Level status in the Builder Category as part of the National Frame Building Association Excellence in Safety Awards.
This recognition reflects an ongoing focus on jobsite safety, training, and continuous improvement across all areas of the company.
What the Award Represents
The NFBA Excellence in Safety Awards Program evaluates builders based on the strength of their safety programs, policies, and overall performance.
To qualify, companies must:
Participate in ongoing safety education, including monthly NFBA safety webinars
Maintain and submit detailed safety policies, procedures, and training programs
Undergo a formal review and ranking process conducted by the NFBA and legal counsel
Each submission is carefully evaluated and placed into a performance level. Vap Construction achieved Gold Level recognition, which represents a high standard of safety practices within the industry.
As part of the award, Vap will also receive a detailed written analysis of its program, providing insight into areas of strength and opportunities for continued improvement.
A Team Effort
Safety is not a one-time initiative. It is a daily commitment that involves every crew member, project manager, and office staff member.
Representing Vap Construction at the 2026 NFBA Annual Conference in Oklahoma City were:

The team attended multiple days of sessions focused on safety practices, industry standards, and continued education.
Built on a Commitment to Safety
At Vap Construction, safety is not treated as a checklist item. It is built into every phase of the process, from planning and training to execution in the field.
Participation in NFBA safety programs and regular training ensures that crews stay current with best practices, evolving standards, and proper procedures. That commitment helps protect team members, customers, and every project site.
Recognition at the Gold Level reinforces the importance of doing things the right way, even when no one is watching.
Looking Ahead
While awards are meaningful, the goal remains the same - continue learning, improving, and building safely. Vap Construction will keep investing in training, refining internal processes, and maintaining the high standards that earned this recognition.
