Fleet & Facilities Maintenance
Vap Construction is a regional leader in general construction, post frame construction, and steel frame construction based in Atwood, Kansas. We are looking for a driven professional to join us full-time as Fleet & Facilities Maintenance. This person will assist with fleet maintenance and mechanics, as well as coordinating facility maintenance projects, receiving material deliveries, and keeping our shops organized and in tip top shape. Successful candidates will have experience with operating a forklift and basic mechanics. This position will be supervised by a full-time shop mechanic as well as other leadership team members, and good communication skills are a must. Integrity, humility, and a proven track record for working well with others in a fast-paced environment is imperative. Applicants should live within 40 miles of Atwood, Kansas or be willing to relocate to the area after being hired.

Spray Foam Applicator (Full Time)
Vap Construction is a regional leader for post frame buildings and residential construction, and our team is growing! We are looking for driven professionals to join our spray foam division, either as a certified applicator or an apprentice with paid training and certification available. Successful candidates will have a strong work ethic and a proven track record of working well with others. This division of our family-owned company will split their time between local projects and other regional projects throughout Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado, and Wyoming so candidates should be willing to travel. Applicants should know how to use construction tools and need to have a valid driver’s license. These positions are full time, hourly careers with opportunities for advancement. Duties will also include installing seamless guttering.

Construction Craftsmen
Vap Construction is seeking experienced and professional construction tradesmen to join our growing team. Successful applicants should have a general knowledge of all areas of residential and/or commercial construction, including operating power tools and running job site equipment. Vap Construction’s residential and commercial construction division does new construction along with renovation projects, ranging from framing and drywall to flooring and cabinetry and everything in between.

Post Frame Building Crew / Foreman
Vap Construction is seeking a driven and experienced Post Frame Crew Foreman to join our growing operation. Our family-owned company builds the highest quality post frame buildings in a 4-state area covering parts of Kansas, Nebraska, Wyoming, and Colorado. Growing demand in our service region means ample opportunity for a successful partnership with a new Crew Foreman / Crew. Successful applicants will be experienced, detail-oriented professionals with the ability to lead projects of different sizes and applications. Communication is a huge priority within our operation internally, as well as externally with our customers and suppliers.
We promise our Crew Foremen the utmost detail and professionalism throughout the project, and we ask for the same in return. In addition to leading and supervising post frame building projects, we also ask our Foremen to provide regular updates on their progress with record keeping and photos throughout the build. We offer competitive compensation and can keep your Crew busy year-round. Foremen must provide their own reliable transportation and tools.
